4 Phases of Profile Building
for studying abroad
Did You Know?

Harvard, USA
Did you know that Harvard prefers depth — they want a future expert, not a generalist. You do not want to be a swimmer AND an economist AND a drama actor.

Imperial College, UK
Did you know the UK doesn't care about leadership not related to your major? Imperial College doesn’t care if you were Head Boy or Girl — they want academic alignment

McGill University, Canada
Did you know Canada’s degree is as valuable as UK's degree and the starting salary in Canada is much higher than the UK starting salary?
Good or Bad?

Club President?
There are 37,000 high schools in the USA with around 40 clubs. That means there are 14,80,000 "club presidents". Common activities can't get you accepted to your dream college in the USA.

1490 SAT?
The top 25% of students at Harvard, MIT, & Stanford have between a 1570 and 1600 on their SAT. Less than a 1500 and you likely won't apply.

Starting an NGO?
The USA loves initiative and community service. But if you just donate 50 books at the end of 3 years, well it's no value add.
By the way, the UK cares about something totally different.
